The Late Tanjoubi Post- THIRTY8 @ Grand Hyatt Hotel KL
Konnichiwa! Hereby sharing my birthday meal which was in June 2018 (serious procrastination). This is a late birthday post, as the title says (遅刻の誕生日投稿). Had my birthday meal in THIRTY8 Restaurant in Grand Hyatt Hotel. I am not 38 yet, but am thinking maybe I should head over there for my 38th birthday meal. Big thanks to my kareshi for this birthday treat. The restaurant is located at the 38th floor of the hotel (hence the name), and it offers 360 degree city view of the busy city of Kuala Lumpur. I chose to sit by the window. Word of advise: never sit near the window when it is noon time, it may not be too sunny at the time you made your choice, but you will regret afterwards. Luckily the air-conditioning was enough to keep me cool. The restaurant offers wide variety of cuisine, including Japanese, Western and Asian. They have fusion of cuisines as well.
